More than a view

Some of the best pieces we make aren't of a place at all. They're of a day. Two figures and a black lab on the summit of Catbells. A red jacket on the path up Helvellyn. The bench above Buttermere where you always stopped.

Tell us who was there and what mattered. The jacket, the dog, the way you stood. That's what makes the piece yours rather than a picture of a fell.

How it's made, honestly

Every piece on this site is made with AI and guided by people who know the Lakes. Yours will be too. We make several, choose the best, check it against the real fell, and only send it if it's right.

It will be an impression of your view, not a copy of your photo. The fell will be the right fell and the light will be yours. The brush goes where the style takes it. That's the point.

If there are people or dogs in the photo, they become figures in the landscape in the style you choose: the jacket, the dog, the way you stood. Not a portrait. We can't paint a face from a photo, and we won't pretend to.
